Letterboxing in Houston

On the way into Houston we stopped in Fort Bend County to try and find Sudoku Game 2.  I won’t tell you the name of the park.  You have to solve the puzzle yourself.  I didn’t find the box though.  We headed out on this path.

But this wasn’t a trail it only led to this pier.

We found the trail and headed out to find a cement hole????  We found some broken pieces of cement block next to a pothole in the trail.  Is this the right spot?

We looked for a multiple trunk tree and spotted this one,

Waded through the tangle of brush to the base of the tree and found the tree was uprooted and could not find a rock for a box to be hidden under.

Had to log this one as a “Not Found”.

We continued on to the Wyndham Hotel at the medical center in Houston to register to do a 10K Year Round Volksmarch.  Leaving our vehicle at the hotel we headed south to find Shamrock.  It was found safe and sound near here.

On the Volksmarch we passed the Museum of Natural History so we did a search for Rice Paper.

This isn’t a clue, but we saw it across the street so I took a picture of it.

This ball was a clue.

Another clue was this glass building.

We found the butterfly bench.

The box was supposed to be here, but the hiding spot was empty.
